Looking after your latex

With the right care, your Gloss Desire Latex pieces will keep their shape and shine for years. Follow these simple steps to get the best from your garments.

Washing

• Hand wash in warm water with a mild soap or specialist latex cleaner
• Do not machine wash or tumble dry
• Do not use oil-based products — these degrade latex over time

Drying

• Pat dry gently with a soft towel
• Do not wring or stretch while wet
• Allow to air dry fully before storing

Storage

• Store flat or loosely rolled, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep away from sharp objects and jewellery
• Do not store in contact with other latex garments without a barrier — colours can transfer

Wearing

• Apply a silicone-based shine spray or dressing aid before wearing for easy application and that signature high-gloss finish
• Remove jewellery and sharp accessories before putting on your garment
• Avoid contact with copper, bronze, or brass — these metals can stain latex permanently
